Civil Netizen Beta Release 8

It seems like some of the initial optimizations for dual-core CPUs that we made available last month backfired. While it made packaging parcels and LAN transfers significantly faster, it also caused an unacceptable amount of CPU time to be consumed by the application. We are making a new version available to correct this problem. Expect a more feature laden release next time around.

I have been unable to try your program because the status area in the lower left corner of the application always says Discovering...

I suspect my ISP (BellSouth DSL in Central Florida) may be blocking your domain. I say this because while I could get to this page, I get a 404 error if I try to go to http://www.civilnetizen.com

Does this problem make any sense to anyone?

Application doesn't appear to work under Windows Vista Enterprise. Anyone else having the same issue?

You need to enable Windows XP Compatibility under Windows Vista. Please check the "Compatibility" tab of the "Properties" context menu for the Netizen shortcut or executable.

I hope that helps.
